The Commitment
Once a week for a month:
Join the COMMIT to SIT LIVE sessions via Zoom. Recordings will be provided afterwards for playback or in case you miss a live class*. Each 90-minute session includes meditation instruction and inspiration, a guided practice, group check-in, and Q&A.
Daily-ish for a month:
Use the mediation recordings daily-ish to support your practice. No worries if you miss a day: daily-ish is all you need to commit to. Choose from short, 3-minute recorded practices to longer, up to 40-minute practices. For added support, you will have the option to keep a record of your daily practice via an online or paper form.
At any time:
Get support from me by reaching our via email or setting up a phone call or video Zoom session. I'll also reserve time after each of the Wednesday live sessions to meet with participants one on one.
*PLEASE NOTE: Attendance at the live classes is an integral part of the course. Although recordings will be provided afterwards, if you need to miss more than two or three live classes, I'd recommend that you take Commit to Sit the next time it's offered and instead drop in for the weekly Let's Sit class instead.

What you'll learn:
Meditation is not a one-size-fits-all kind of thing, nor does it serve us to practice the same way all the time. During this course, you'll be learning various meditations and techniques that will help you develop your own mindfulness practice AND invite it into your life. Our classes and practices will include:
- Basic meditation instruction - the nuts and bolts of a mindfulness meditation practice
- History of these ancient practices
- Body scan meditation
- Walking meditation
- Sitting practice
- Loving kindness practice
- Yoga and mindful movement
- "Homework" to engage in each week to help you take your practice out of the class and into your life
